Celeste Silver Leaf Carved Nightstand | Classical French Louis XV Bedside Table with Cabriole Legs - EKAR FURNITURE
A nightstand is the small piece that holds the bedside, and the Celeste Silver Leaf Carved Nightstand by EKAR FURNITURE is built to hold that role with composure. It is a classical French bedside table in a soft, even silver-toned finish, the body shaped as a gently bowed front that keeps the whole piece feeling unhurried rather than boxy, a single carved drawer set into the front with a warm, shaped handle, and ornate floral scroll carving worked across the apron below the drawer. The whole table is lifted off the floor on four slender cabriole legs, so the piece reads as light and composed from a distance, and as warm and collected up close, because of the fine carving and the soft, even tone of the finish. We shape this nightstand as a bespoke custom furniture piece in our Foshan furniture factory, built for clients who want a classical French bedside table that feels collected rather than generic.
The gently bowed body is the defining feature of the Celeste. The front of the nightstand is not built as a flat, hard panel, but as a soft, continuous curve that sweeps gently outward at the centre, so the piece reads as composed and unhurried rather than boxy, and the top of the table follows the same continuous line, so the whole body reads as one shaped, controlled element. The soft silver tone of the finish is kept even and controlled, so the body of the nightstand reads as calm and warm rather than bright or cold, and the gentle curve of the bow shows clearly against the wall behind it. The single drawer is set into the bowed front in the same continuous line, so the storage of the piece feels integrated rather than added on, and the warm, shaped handle at the centre of the drawer gives the front a natural, composed focal point.
The floral scroll carving is the second clear note of the nightstand, and it is what gives the Celeste its warm, hand-finished feel. The apron below the drawer is worked in fine, even scroll carving, a pattern of small, continuous floral shapes that run across the front of the table and along the sides, and the carving is done by hand, so the line of the scrolls reads as natural and even rather than hard and mechanical. The carving carries the same soft silver tone as the rest of the body, so the pattern of the scrolls shows clearly through the play of light across the surface, and the whole piece reads as one composed, continuous element rather than a body with carving applied to it. The slender cabriole legs carry the same carved line as they sweep gently out and down to the floor, so the whole nightstand reads as one shaped, controlled form from the top of the body to the small foot of the leg. As an export furniture standard, the finish is checked in-house to hold its soft, even tone through daily use.
In the room, the Celeste works as a proper bedside table at the head of a bed, where it holds a small lamp, a book, and a few small things of the bedside, or as a composed accent table in a corner of a bedroom or a dressing area, where it carries a small sculpture or a framed piece of art. The soft silver tone of the finish pairs naturally with warm woods, soft creams, stone, leather, and muted neutral palettes, and the carved, classical line of the piece keeps the nightstand feeling warm and collected rather than cold and formal. The light, lifted stance of the cabriole legs keeps the small footprint of the table feeling easy to place, so it fits naturally at the head of a bed or in a corner without crowding the space. Demand for this kind of design-led classical nightstand is strong in the India import furniture market, where importers in Mumbai and New Delhi look for composed, and durable bedroom pieces for luxury apartments, penthouses, villas, and boutique hospitality interiors, where the table needs to hold up to daily use and still look composed.
Choosing EKAR means working with a high-end furniture customization factory that treats a nightstand as a serious piece of furniture rather than a plain bedside surface. The bowed body is shaped to keep the curve continuous and even, the floral scroll carving is worked by hand to keep the pattern natural and controlled, the single drawer is fitted to move cleanly, the warm, shaped handle is set to sit flush and even, and the cabriole legs are carved and fitted to keep the stance light and stable. This is the standard of our Foshan custom furniture factory, where each nightstand is built, checked, and prepared for international shipping. Whether it stands at the head of a bed in a London bedroom, a Dubai penthouse, or the suite of a Mumbai boutique hotel, the Celeste Silver Leaf Carved Nightstand brings a light, warm, and quietly formal piece into the room.
